Ankur Jain Movie Production

Young Entrepreneur of the Month in blog.brand-yourself.com is Ankur Jain. Patrick Ambron, the author of this article, interviewed him on the Kairos Summit, an event that provided young entrepreneurs with a platform to share their ideas, exhibit their work and network with industry leaders.

Ankur Jain is currently enrolled in the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in his junior year and is the architect of the Kairos Society.Founded in 2008 by Ankur Jain, a student in Wharton School of Business at UPenn, the Kairos Society is an organization in which members are from top universities including Harvard, Stanford, and M.I.T., and from around the world, including students from China, India, and the Netherlands.

Recently Jain was selected to participate in the prestigious Singularity University Summer Program, an interdisciplinary program based at the NASA Ames campus in Silicon Valley whose mission is to assemble, educate and inspire a group of leaders who strive to understand and push forward the development of exponentially advancing technologies that solve humanity’s grand challenges.

Jain becomes the first undergraduate student to produce a featured movie by producing “My New Haircut” , an adation of a Youtube sensation. He orchestrated the deals necessary to raise $5 million to cover the movie’s production costs and has even signed a bunch of famous Hollywood producers, including Scott Mednick.

At UPenn he works Innovation Fund Board Member for the Weiss Technology House.The Weiss Technology House is a student-run hub of technological innovation on campus with the goal of encouraging and fostering undergraduates in creating, developing and commercializing the innovative technologies.
