Spaghetti Sauce Recipe
Found a pretty ok recipe for spaghetti sauce browsing wordpress. Interesting thing about it is it talks about how to make pizza sauce from scratch…Never done that before.
Decided to make a plate of spaghetti from scratch the other day. I got a wild hair up my butt and started from whole tomatoes. I blanched the tomatoes briefly and then removed the skins, then squeezed out the seeds. After that I blended the tomatoes and added them to a pan with thmye, salt, garlic and parsley. I added some red wine to the mixture and simmered it all for several hours. The aroma the sauce made as it simmered was stupendous.
No doubt, it was a incredibly tasty sauce that I will cook another time. Added a great deal of taste to the food. All this from a simple pizza sauce recipe.
