Build Credit

Does MY Credit Report Show MY information?

Is my credit score reporting my information?
Ever looked at your credit history and marvelled what some of the information or accounts were that’s being reported to your credit report? Stuff like previous addresses, employers and even accounts that you know you never had can appear on your credit score. Infrequently this is simply a mistake and info was merged into your SSID number but it also may be as serious as ID theft.

Begin with disputing that information with the credit bureau. Do not give up until the information is either removed or corrected. Fake information such as wrong addresses and such open you up for becoming a victim of ID theft. Actually, you’ll have already become a victim.

This may help build credit.

ID theft is not something that you must treat lightly. By not replying quick enough, you could be opening yourself to becoming in charge of accounts that have used your name without your permission. By concerning the police sufficiently early, you may constrain your liability and money loss.
